We’re excited as Beach Dog Boarding & Salon heads successfully into its third year at our wonderful facility in beautiful Lo de Marcos . . . 30 miles north of the Puerto Vallarta Airport, Nayarit, Mexico. We are within 10 miles of Rincón de Guayabitos & La Peñita de Jaltemba to the north and San Pancho and Sayulita to the south.

Now you can finally take those multi-day trips to Guadalajara and Tonola, or maybe Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende with the peace-of-mind knowing that your pet is safe and comfortable back at the “Camp” in Lo de Marcos. Our happy guests are our advertising! Our facility has turned into a Doggie Paradise!!!

We also offer very affordable Doggie Day Care for those clients who want to head to Puerto Vallarta for the day or enjoy a relaxing lunch in Sayulita or San Pancho. You no longer need to worry about leaving your pet in the vehicle with the air conditioning on and the motor running in the parking lot, hoping that nothing will happen while you’re inside shopping or eating. We have numerous large dog kennels in addition to a large play area with a big shady palapa and cool, green grass.

This year were have begun requiring that you dog (not cats) be on a flea and tick program, preferably Frontline Plus, for boarding or Doggie Day Care at our facility. After 2 years and over 1,000 dogs, we find this to be the most effective non-toxic form of prevention from fleas and ticks. They die within 24 after coming in contact with Frontline Plus on the dogs hair which keeps our facility as close as possible to being tick-free. We have Frontline Plus for sale at our facility. It takes 24-48 hrs to completely absorb into their skin and take effect.

Our new, spacious dog grooming salon comes with everything needed to give your pet a first-class, safe grooming experience . . . and we guarantee they will look GREAT based on our years of experience in the grooming industry. Special care and attention is always given to senior pets. We also offer a Pet Taxi for pick-up and delivery for your pet.

Our facility is 5 blocks from the beach, located inside a 600 square meter lot and surrounded by a large brick wall. In addition to our high standard of cleanliness, we always maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our guests, both pets and human. Our facility has a dual fence just to make sure that your pet does not get through the gate while someone is entering or leaving the grounds.

We board CATS as well as dogs.

All appointments and reservations are highly recommended due to limited space, especially from October to March. To contact us, depending on what is convenient for you, stop by our facility, call us or e-mail us.

If you are planning on bringing your pet to Mexico, BE SURE to get them on a tick preventative program. I have found Frontline Plus to be the most effective down here in the Puerto Vallarta area tropical jungle, but I have also found a very small percentage immune to this product. Sometimes it helps to change to Advantix for 2 months, then back to Frontline Plus.

Let me clarify that we are NOT veterinarians. We are only sharing with you our experience of the past few years.
