M.A.S.H. . . . Mobile Animal Surgical Hospital) we can make a difference with the animals here in Mexico by decreasing the number of unwanted pets through spay and neuter programs, adoptions and particularly education . . . and at the same time we can increase the health of the animals in our community. Or in the La Penita / Guayabitos / Lo de Marcos areas contact JBAR ~ Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue, founded and run by the efficient Lin Chimes (www.jaltembabaylife.com/community/jaltemba-bay-animal-rescue ) They can always use volunteers for checking in animals, cleaning instruments, recovery, etc. And they can always use lunches brought in. How can YOU help? Donated items are alway needed and greatly appreciated, especially large dog crates. If you see them at garage sales or flea markets, please keep M.A.S.H. in mind. (If you are flying down you can easily put your suitcase inside of the crate and usually not get charged extra) Many people foster dogs and cats, so food is always needed. Old towels and sheets are always needed for the clinics and we never seem to have enough. Surgical instruments are always needed as well as catheters for the animal clinics.
